Project Overview

After graduating from BYU with a degree in Psychology, I was brought into Fluent Solar to build the recruiting department from the ground up. With minimal direction, my mandate was to create an efficient, functional hiring system that could support rapid business growth.

Systems and Process Design

I scaled the recruiting team, selected and onboarded recruiters, and developed streamlined hiring workflows. When I started, a team of three recruiters supported seven locations for a single role, hiring approximately 15 new employees per week. Within one year, I grew the team to 14 recruiters supporting more than 20 locations and 10 plus roles, onboarding 50 to 60 new hires weekly.

Leadership and Culture Building

In addition to scaling operations, I focused heavily on building a strong, collaborative team culture. Through intentional leadership and trust-building, the recruiting team became known internally as one of the most desirable teams to join, reflecting high engagement and retention.

Training and Enablement

I designed and facilitated ongoing team development through daily huddles, weekly one-on-ones, monthly training sessions, and quarterly team-building activities. Trainings focused on recruiting fundamentals, candidate communication, problem-solving, and setting healthy professional boundaries. The included artifact represents one of these training sessions and highlights my approach to coaching and skill development.
